Unity Day #4

Hello!

Before I start in on what I to show you today I just wanted to say thank you to each and everyone of you for the wonderful comments!

Ok so here we go with day 4, wow the time goes by fast. I had seen coasters made using tiles you would use in home improvement projects, and I thought I'd give it a try. So far, I'm still playing around with them to see what works best. Here's a photo of my most recent 3.

My Recipe:
(3) Tiles
(4) Unity Stamp Co. stamps-Bright & Merry Winter Wishes , June '09 KOTM , May '09 KOTM
(2) StazOn ink pads
(7) Markers

I had a hard time picking the right Unity stamp because they are all so adorable!

Here are individual photos of each tile.

On this tile I used the cute cherry vine box from the June '09 KOTM. I stamped it with Black StazOn ink and then added red and green around the cherries and leaves.

On the second tile I used the cute bird cages with quote from the May '09 KOTM. After stamping in black I used 5 pastels to color the bird cages.

For my last tile I used the snowflake and winter wonderland stamps from the Bright & Merry Winter Wishes set.

Make sure to check back tomorrow for my last day of Growing in Unity, as I will have a project for the kids that I've been working on!

Great project! Do you seal your tiles after stamping? They look great! I especially love the one with the little birdcages. Thanks for sharing!
